Judge halts same-sex marriage in Iowa — and only a few hours after a different judge said gay couples could wed. I’m kinda surprised the second judge didn’t act quicker; at least a few couples got married Friday.

Good news: Court rules same-sex couples can marry. Bad news: It’s an Iowa district court. It’s a start and, sadly, will face many more legal challenges.

It really comes down to one person: David Beckham. MLSNet.com, the official Major League Soccer site, saw a 252 percent month-to-month increase in traffic after it was announced that Beckham had signed with the LA Galaxy.
