Break news

AP’s finally figured out that you can break news, too. Send breaking-news videos or photos to SendToAP.com via computer or text message. Quite smart. (Several newspapers allow you to send in photos, but not many have caught on to the immediate send-it-from-the-phone concept.)

RELATED: CNN is expanding … in Second Life. Starting next week, the network will rely on Second Life “residents” to report the news. Reuters has a Second Life bureau, but they still do their own reporting. European media has jumped into Second Life, too. And, for the record, I still don’t get it.
