• Started a blog, and even update it kind of regularly
• Created (and designed) my own Web site
• Learned JavaScript
• Learned Flash and the basics of Actionscript
• Created some Web graphics, and convinced my boss I should be doing more of that and fewer A1s
• Created widgets
• Moved — three floors, which took three days
• Went to Florida to visit Kevin
• Went to Chicago to visit Mark — a couple of times
• Took the train
• Was on a train that hit a person … and the passengers applauded when the train started again an hour and a half later
• Saw the Royals win in Kansas City, and a spectacular fireworks show afterward
• Went to Boston for SND
• Joined Facebook and Twitter
• Learned how to script a Google map
• Went to Chicago for Rehab weekend … and embarrassed myself
• Saw the Royals lose in Chicago
• Saw “Wicked” with Mark and Kevin
• Rebuilt the “summer” home
• Chased the cat
• Was chased by the cat
• Made new friends
• Reconnected with old friends
• Saw Kathy Griffin in Chicago with Mark, Sam and Chuck
• Saw Christina Aguilera in Fort Lauderdale with Kevin and Mark
• Saw Mat Kearney in Chicago with Mark — VIP section!
• Maxed out a credit card — ouch
• Spent a lot of time on the phone
• Hosted the family Christmas dinner
• Got a sunburn
• Gave fashion advice
• Saw the Air and Sea Show during Fleet Week in Fort Lauderdale
• Broke many news stories — many of them to Kevin, and he frequently returned the favor
• Pulled off a couple of surprises

Overall, a pretty good year. Here’s to a great 2008.
