STLtoday.com launches redesign

The resdesigned (and much improved) STLtoday.com is live!

See the tutorial to learn more, and check out The Editors’ Blog to see what others have to say about it. Personally, I think it’s a huge improvement. There are a few quirks and bugs to work out, as there always are when a change is introduced, but kudos to Will Sullivan and everyone who helped.

(I know I’m a little late posting this, but I have a good excuse: I’m on vacation. And the FBI is at the door.)

…more like a few *hundred* quirks, bugs and style issues to fix.

I just have to know, who came up with the teal?

Chris, I’ll take the teal over those horrible gray bricks that used to be in the background any day. I might tone it down just a bit … but I still think it’s a vast improvement over what was there.

i don’t get why everybody finds the background color so offensive. compared to the oppressive gray-red-black color scheme of the previous site, the teal and white are refreshing. i look at sites like twitter, facebook and perezhilton all day, so the color at STLtoday isn’t really all that insane. the teal reminds me of water, appropriate since we live on a river (closer to brown than teal, granted).
