2 new blogs you should be reading
A couple of friends have launched new blogs. You should check them out.
Up first: Christopher Ave. You know his work from the “Gimme the Truth,” the Politifact song (video at left). He’s also the political editor at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. His other job is Music for Media, which creates music for all sorts of media. And he just started a new blog on the use of music in multimedia projects. Christopher has some great resources and conversation on the use and power of music.
New blog No. 2 is from a friend who prefers to remain anonymous. Overheard in the Newsroom is the much-needed anti-thesis to Paper Cuts and Angry Journalist — the site is pure genius. Instead of telling a few friends about those randomly overheard conversations in your newsroom, now you can share ‘em with everyone. ‘Cause sharing is good. (Plus, I’ve seen a couple from my newsroom show up on there already, and a few more that could have come from my newsroom.)
