The South Plant in Dallas, a printing plant opened in 2007, will be closed. Printing will shift to the North Plant in Plano. The Morning News reported that “most” of the South Plant’s 60 full-time employees would be transferred to the North Plant. Morning News publisher Jim Moroney said the move “will save over a million dollars a year and eliminate only a very few jobs.”
